My name is Tom Bird and in 5 weeks time I shall be taking part in The Jungle Marathon on behalf of The British Red Cross.
The 200km race runs over seven days, across harsh terrain including primary jungle, established jungle tracks, beaches and villages. The journey also features many river crossings, where runners must swim alongside piranhas.
My goal is to raise £5000 for The British Red Cross who help people across the UK and abroad in crisis.
