Tin Can favourites Spiritualized are forced to cancel two dates for the first time .
We've just had a call from one of our people down in the Spiritualized camp who has imformed us of the cancellation of two festival shows. This is the first time in 21 often turbulent years that the band has had to cancel a show but apparently it's unavoidable due to some necessary short-term medical treatment Jason Pierce is undergoing.
The cancelled appearances are the August 5th Ypsigrock Festival in Sicily and at the August 13th Standon Calling Festival in Hertfordshire, England.
Spiritualized are less than happy to be announcing these cancellations but medics have strongly advised against Pierce performing.
