Phosphene Dream was remarkable. It felt very modern, yet strangely 40 years old at the same time.
That opening 2 lines took me an hour to write, so don't laugh. I wanted to quickly summarise what I felt about the album, not review it. Even that felt difficult. You probably know the album inside out by now so that will mean more to you than me wittering on at this point.
This is an alternative version of the album track, found on Phosgene Nightmare. And we like it better than the album version - it just sounds a little more...oh, I don't know...sinister? Well it is Phosgene Nightmare after all...
But that's just us. Matters not a bit what we think, it's only words. This is music. We just want to highlight the track. Form your own opinion.
And if you like it & you collect vinly, it's yours for thirty quid. On E Bay...
Not a slight on the band in any way, just showing how anything & everything has a dark side, even Record Store Day.
Our Track of the day in a huge way...
