If you live in or around the north west of Manchester, you should know about Manchester Music. They promote & report on everything that's happening music-wise in Manchester. We couldn't plan a night out without it.
On the website you'll find reviews of live shows, new releases, new demos plus a vast A to Z of Manchester based bands. Nobody else has taken the time to do that or gone to so much trouble...
But not only is the website, there's the utilisation of a Facebook page that shows other how it should be done. A constant daily stream of what's happening on the day or the day following in & around Manchester - if it's not mentioned, it's probably not on.
We know it's not a large crew that runs it even though it sometimes appears that way. Because of that you know it's down to their sheer bloody mindedness to support the local Manchester Music scene & it's now often under pressure venues.
