I found this band when I was on my weekly Asian porn search. Jokes. I knew them way before I got into Asian porn.

Keeping with orgasmic tendencies though, London quintet Japanese Voyeurs release their debut EP 'Sicking And Creaming' on October 5^th and you should all buy it. I know, we're in a recession blah blah blah, but seriously, go buy this CD! Taking a cue from bruised Queen Adreena front woman Katie Jane Garside, JV's voice box Romily Alice makes quite the grunge singing, rag doll vixen. Her pretty, childlike innocence is like a mystical inner pixie, which suddenly turns into a teenage growl like a mangy alley cat with a tendency to piss all over your territory. The three-track offering starts with first single 'Dumb' in which Alice states, "I still wanna sleep with you/I guess I'm dumb" as if she's talking to err, everyone on the planet. With their thudding bass and screeching guitars, they sound more 80's Seattle than naughties London, but as if that's ever gonna be a bad thing. 'X-Ray Ted' is an altogether angrier ordeal of cave man bashing drums, surely the best way to serve messy emotion? Then there's 'You're So Cool', the perfect iPod number for the bus ride to school; that place is (probably) full of wankers, so best set your volume on high and let the demons out before double maths. If the infamous grunge sound is on the verge of a gigantic comeback, please let these comic book geeks soundtrack the revival - there's enough creepy angst and greasy hair here to satisfy your needs.
