Scottish heart-string rippers The Twilight Sad have been added to the Iceland Airwaves line-up along with 50 more acts.

Scotland’s The Twilight Sad have been announced as part of another 50 more bands booked to play the Iceland Airwaves festival which takes place in between October 12th and 16th in Reykjavik. This is good news for the band after last weekend’s cancellation of Beacons Festival due to flooding. The band come across very intense live and bring new dimensions to their music by pushing tracks to bursting point and creating a wall-of-sound you could almost touch.
They join an already varied and sterling line-up alongside Björk, Dungen, Austra, Yoko Ono, and many more acts from both Iceland and further afield.
