Film producer David Lynch to release full length album.

Post-modern film director David Lynch follows last year's single releases with full length album, Crazy Clown Time.

David Lynch is one of our favourite film directors here at Tin Can.  We often have debates about his films, which, unless you're wired up a bit differently, you need to watch at least six times before you can even start to theorize.  He's always dabbled in a bit of music production too, and as we love him so much, we've been keeping a watch on what he does.  Following last year's electro-pop (!) 'Good Day Today' and the distinctly lo-fi trip-hop 'I Know' singles, his debut album Crazy Clown Time is due for release on November 7th and features opening-track guest vocals by Karen O of  The Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs.

Lynch describes the forthcoming album as 'modern blues' and states that it was, as a lot of  music is, the result of a jam..It was recorded over several months in his studio, and pledges 'hypnotic rhythms and enigmatic lyrics'. Frankly, we're not surprised at all.

Crazy Clown Time is released on November 7th on Sunday Best Recordings.
